Group Tours & Tastings

The Wine Discovery Journey is a state-of-the-art, award-winning interactive wine experience. This outstanding Australian wine industry showcase examines everything from the challenges of winemaking to the pure enjoyment of drinking fine Australian wine. The exhibition is where visitors come to understand the role wine has played in history, recognise the position of Australian wine in today's international market and appreciate the relationship between food and wine.

Guided tours of the Wine Discovery Journey are available for groups of 6 - 20 people, larger groups can be split. Bookings are essential for group tours. Your visit to the National Wine Centre also has the opportunity to add a wine tasting element.

For beginners to wine, your group can experience the 'Welcome to Wine' hosted tour and tasting, guests will try three wines while learning the basics of how to taste wine. For those who are after a more experimental tasting we offer the 'Educational' tour and tasting, where guests are treated to a hosted tour of the Wine Discovery Journey and three alternate varietal wines. Finally for those who aspire to the finer things in life we offer a 'Fine Wine Tasting' complete with a hosted tour and three wines specially selected from our cellar reserve.

Groups of up to 20 people are welcome to dine in our Concourse Cafe from 12pm until 2.30pm. Larger groups can order light lunches from our Tour and Tasting Menu.
