Undergraduate and postgraduate offerings
The wine education programs of the Faculty of Sciences, which are taught at
the Waite Campus and the National Wine Centre, have an international reputation
for excellence. The National Wine Centre provides enhanced teaching
facilities for wine courses and a unique opportunity for community education and
engagement. The National Wine Centre is available
for classes in the wine business and the viticultural and winemaking programs.
The Waite is home of the School
of Agriculture, Food and Wine. Nestled in the Adelaide foothills, the Waite
Campus offers beautiful scenery and world class facilities. It has its own
vineyard from which grapes are sourced for processing in its multi-million-dollar
Hickinbotham
Roseworthy Wine Science Laboratory. The graduates from Roseworthy
have gone on to become leaders in the Australian wine industry, with names such
as Angove, Basedow, Burge, Hardy, Glaetzer, Jenke, Knappstein, Paulett, Rumball,
Seppelt and Tolley all counted among our alumni.
