Weddings
Whether it's a big or small occasion, we'll organise the perfect
venue.
You have three venues at the National Wine Centre to choose from,
depending on the size and requirements of your wedding reception.
Starting at the top, The Gallery is located on the first floor
of the Centre, overlooking the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, the Courtyard and the
vineyard beyond.
The room can cater for 80 guests up to 140 depending on the style
of wedding you have in mind. For instance, you can have 100 guests
at round tables with a dance floor, or 140 guests for a cocktail reception.
There is also access to an outdoor balcony during your event.
The Vines on the ground floor of the Centre
opens onto an outdoor terrace area, this room caters for a minimum
of 60 to a maximum of 80 at round tables, with a dance floor.
Finally, and most spectacularly, The Hickinbotham Hall overlooks
another outdoor terrace area and the Centre's vineyard.
Dominated by a stunning wooden ceiling that rises to 23 metres,
the room can cater for up to 500 guests for a cocktail reception,
360 at round tables or 300 at round tables with a dance floor. The Hickinbotham
Hall features 100-year-old jarrah floorboards and the largest rammed
earth wall in the Southern Hemisphere that serves as a backdrop to
your festivities.
