The National Wine Centre of Australia has a unique atmosphere and is set in an ideal location. Situated on the edge of Adelaide's stunning Botanic Gardens, it is a combination of eye-catching architecture and smooth functionality. With a range of rooms to choose from, the Centre offers excellence in conference and function facilities and can cater for as little as 10 up to 500 guests. The exterior architecture provides a dramatic entrance and offers a superb alternative to a traditional venue.

There are five rooms to choose from, depending on your needs. Most spectacularly, our premier venue, The Hickinbotham Hall (formerly Busby Hall) overlooks the outdoor terrace area and the Centre's vineyard. The room is dominated by a stunning wooden ceiling that rises to 23 metres. It caters for up to 500 guests for a cocktail reception, 360 at round tables or 300 at round tables with a dance floor. The Hickinbotham Hall also features 100-year-old jarrah floorboards and a spectacular rammed earth wall that serves as an amazing backdrop to your festivities, ideally suited for hosting formal dinners, presentations and unforgettable events.

Our Ferguson & Broughton Rooms are located on the ground floor of the Centre and are perfect for small meetings and seminars. They can hold 50 people in a theatre style, 24 in a U-shape arrangement and 20 in a boardroom style. These rooms can be opened to form one large room holding 100 people in a theatre style.

The Gallery is located on the first floor of the Centre and has its own balcony overlooking the Botanic Gardens. The room can cater for 50 to 140 people depending on the style of function you require.

The Vines is located on the ground floor and opens up on to the outdoor terrace area, providing a wonderful setting catering for between 50 and 100 guests for dinner events and 140 guests for a cocktail setting.
